Has anyone else been noticing an uptick in direct traffic views in their stats? I understand that those views come from clicking links or bookmarking a particular item - things like that - but lately I have seen a HUGE spike in direct traffic and its all items that I have sold literally years ago.
It just seems odd... why would so many people be bookmarking items that are no longer available? I mean, when you click on the item it tells you it sold. And I could see if maybe a while ago someone bookedmarked one or two of my items or emailed them to a friend and those links are getting revisited but it just seems like more traffic than would account from that. And like I said, it's never direct traffic views of items that are actually for sale, only things that I sold in 2010 or 2011.
It just seems off. I guess I thought if others were noticing it as well it might be a new spider or indexer or some other internet thing.
