Craftgawker?

Hello!

I'm experimenting with different ways to advertise my Etsy shops (I also run CobwebBridal http://www.etsy.com/shop/CobwebBridal). Has anyone here used/had much success with Craftgawker? So far I've been building up my facebook page which is progressing slowly but surely, started a pinterest account and have tried Craftori (with only one hit so far so that may be a write off...)

I've just registered on Craftgawker after seeing it recommended on Etsy but I'm having difficulty figuring out how to use it. Is it only for posting tutorials? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) I'm especially looking for places to advertise my bridal pieces and I noticed Craftgawker has a wedding section...

Re: Craftgawker?

It looks very cool but everything on the front page (and most other pages) seem to be DIY projects and tutorials so I'm wondering if it's not the best place to promote if you don't generally write tutorials. However it has a WeddingGawker section which seems to be more photos of weddings etc so possibly that's an avenue. I'm not sure yet!

Re: Craftgawker?

I follow the site, it's mainly focused around blog posts (whether DIY/tutorials or just blogs listing items) with beautiful pictures rather than products for sale. So, it's probably only going to really help you if you're blogging your items.

Re: Craftgawker?

It does seem like a great place for finding blogs to submit to however :) I've already found three or four on WeddingGawker :)
