Sad to not be seen...

I listed a new item in my shop yesterday (one of a series of bracelets). I was so happy with how it turned out, I really fell in love with it. I was gone for the day, after 12 hours or so, I checked and it had one view, one. Now this morning I look again and still just one view. I'm really bummed. I pinned it on pinterest and I do pay for search adds.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that my jewelry is unusual enough to at least get a look, especially this time of year.

Feeling really frustrated about being a needle in a HUGE haystack.

Any suggestions on how to get noticed? This is my first time participating in a team, maybe that's been my first problem, trying to go it alone :)

Hey Lisa-
Your shop is very cool. You do have unique, individual pieces for sure!
I can only say to have patience and keep your head up. Some days I've had zero views on anything, and others I've had 30+. It's odd like that.
I'll favorite some of your items! And joining teams does help.

your items are cool and like shannie said, rather unique, but try to get more follower, you only have around 30, join promotion teams so your items get more seen and create treasuries....

You need to work on your tags and titles. I think most of your tags are not what people would be searching for when looking for a bracelet, plus some are repeated. If people can't find you through search they can't see your cool jewelry.

I agree with Lori about SEO.

Make the first 3 words of your titles the most important. For example:

http://www.etsy.com/listing/117955691/chunky-funky-pink-dogwood-cuff-bracelet

If I wanted to find something like this bracelet, I would not type "Chunk Funky Pink" in the search bar. I would use something more like "Floral Cuff Bracelet - Chunky Pink Boho..." Try to think like a shopper and what they would be typing into the search bar. Then remember to use those words in your tags as well.

I've been having issues getting things posted to facebook lately, so today I did it via pinnterest. A friend bought the bracelet almost instantly! That was great but I can't always rely on my friends :)

Hi Lisa, I know what you mean about views I've had the same thing happen more than once and it's really frustrating when you create a piece that you love and want to share with everyone and no one sees it. Some of the things I've found that help my views with newly listed items are promoting on my Facebook page and being a part of teams. I promote on my teams Facebook pages and on the forums here. Like any business just creating the product isn't enough even here on Etsy you have to work on promoting and getting your name out there. You have some really beautiful and unique pieces I'm sure if you take the advice that others have offered about tagging and SEO plus promoting you will start to find your audience. Good Luck. :)
