Best way to display my paintings?

http://www.etsy.com/shop/PalaceOfWinds?section_id=11411213

What's the best way to display paintings ? Are they looking attractive/ treasury worthy right now? any ideas to display paintings? what kind of display do you think is looking best? Should the first picture be bigger/closeup?

Any suggestions are welcome! :)

thanks

Re: Best way to display my paintings?

Hi :),

I think displaying art is a really tricky one. I think your last photo on this item should have been first. I don't like the photograph which is first as its really tricky to see what you are buying and the final artwork will not look like that so I think it is confusing to the buyer as you have cropped it and added a different background. I think the ones in frames work well and then its good to have the zoomed in bits of detail too :). http://www.etsy.com/listing/103850853/fine-art-original-painting-miniature?image_id=354494987

Re: Best way to display my paintings?

I've got a print shop and have just re-jigged my photos, I agree it's tricky. After some helpful advice here I've settled on the main photo being a full shot of the print, supported by detail and an 'in situ' shot to show scale/how it would look in someones home. Whether this is right we'll see!
