Adding Canvas Tote Bags

I am thinking about working with an artist and adding printed canvas bags/wallets to my shop. Do you think that will take away from my jewelry? This is something I really want to do but I am just starting to build up sales from my jewelry and worried it won't look cohesive. I have sold scarves in my shop before and those did well so I am torn.

If the design is right i think it will look really well in your shop, it will open up a new window for potential customers, such as people who like the style of your shop but not wear earrings and necklaces a lot. Personally because of my job and being an art student i never wear jewellery because it'll either get covered in paint or i'll get told off by my boss.

Your pieces seem to feature natural stones, would the bags have a similar theme? If the bags were printed with images in line with your jewelry I personally would find that cohesive, but I know others would disagree.

I think the shop may be cohesive adding the tote bags, but it depends on which type of printing you want to use! For example geometric designes are cohesive with your jewelry, contrariwise a kawaii or victorian subject might not work for your store.

I think you should totally add tote bags. Your items are so pretty and unique and I'm a big fan ...I would like anything you choose to sell. :-)

Thanks everyone. You are right, I need to find a way to incorporate my jewelry into the bags. I have a few ideas but they don't really match my jewelry. Hmmm...decisions decisions
