Google Search Changes Affecting Etsy Sales?

Google changes, such as the new images in search, were introduced in mid-May, which is exactly when huge numbers of Etsy sellers began experiencing fewer sales and lower stats, particularly coming from Google search--can you give us some information on why this is happening, what Etsy is doing, and when it might be corrected? Thanks!

I apologize in advance, if I come off as a douche:)
I try to build my brand so carefully follow the growth since 2006. I google not myself but kind of (<- feels weird even typing it haha!) my shop's name and throughout the years the number grew. In the last few weeks whenever I had low sales day (normally have a few sales every day..I know many of you don't, or not yet so don't take it as bragging, it's part of the story) I use to google the name again and it would go down to the 10% of what I normally get, and it's down for a few days, like for a whole weekend. Then the sales come back again - I do the google search and numbers are back up high.
Just thinking out loud, but it might be related...btw my views and sales went up like crazy in April, and the first part of May...now I'm getting less then I use to, or the same, except I do much more promo work to get the same numbers.
