How to find your items the easy way

It can be a real pain to go through page after page to find yourself in any particular search here, especially if you aren't in the first few pages. There's a great tool out there that does it for you at :

http://statsy.org/locator.php

You just copy and paste your item number and then use whatever search string that you're trying to find yourself in as the keyword(s) and it will tell you the page and position that the item is on. It saves a huge amount of time when it comes to finding your stuff.

That's so useful. I've been trawling through pages to find my items as I've been redoing my tags and titles, this makes it so much faster to figure out how effective my changes are.

Silly question here, but is this supposed to show where your listings are in etsy or in google? I'm assuming etsy....

I just tried a bunch of my items and none of them are showing up. I know that is not correct because I have searched for those items and they show up anywhere from the first page in etsy up until the 20th page. What am I doing wrong?

Very helpful! I just tested out two of my listings, and they can't be found because they are not in the first 25 pages! Yikes!! I guess I have a lot of work ahead of me, and I'm not even sure where to begin.

Lauren, what are you entering on the page? You need to put in your shop name even though it says user name (it hasn't been updated since we could separate the two), the item number of the listing and the search words in the keyword field. If you can't figure it out just tell me the item number and I'll see if it works for me.

This is our new process for doing listing reviews. Once you take a look at it you can go ahead and start your own thread for a review and team members will help you brainstorm for good keywords. Then we'll help you learn to use the google keyword tool to check how good they really are.

Hi Karen. I am listing my shop name and all other information it asks for. It says my items can't be found because they are not in the top 25 pages. Is that googles top 25 pages or etsy? When I check on etsy this listing below is on the first page when you search under crystal rhinestone earrings. Here is the listing.

Make sure the tool is showing results by "relevancy" rather than "newest first." Mine weren't showing up, but once I changed that, they were all getting a hit somewhere.
