Shipping Catnip

Hey,

I'm working on a new product right now which contains home grown catnip. Would I have problems shipping this through customs. I'm in the UK and most of my customers are in the US.

It's really stinky catnip and smells similar to cannabis so I wondered if I would have problems.

I think you've answered your own question to be honest - but I don't know the official answer. Customs might open it anyway if it smells like cannabis

I had another shop where I made cat toys with catnip. To reduce the smell, I would have the toy in a sealed small plastic bag in the bubble mailer . I would just write "cat toy" on the custom forms. Never had any problems.
