No, it's not admin. It's just me. I grabbed this name because, well, it was there! and just as generic as the forum titles are...and, if the goddesses shine on us, will be for a while longer.

This is just meant to be a gathering place that welcomes all.

What I don't understand, is how we will be able to fit under the new wings, and what we have to do to get that presence.

I know there are a couple of other "teams" for everyone -- I joined one. But, folks, it's all in the name if we want to "game" the system, you know?

I want each and every one of you to know how much I value your words, and your lurkings. I love people I don't agree with -- they open my horizons, make me mad, and just make the world a wonderful place with everything in it. I loved that about the old forum. I could read something I disagree with, and steam, then vent...and I loved that it was there!

Thank you for the invite. As a relative newbie, I really need to continue my Etsy education. Since I started with Etsy there's been so much turmoil and drama that it makes staying positive not easy to achieve. I've been in sales all my life and know that keeping a positive attitude is the key to ANY sales success.

I hate it that I can't shake the "closed in" feeling but I'm hoping that will ebb.

I've been sick since mid December and now I'm sitting on a lot of inventory that I've made during the recovery. I need a great attitude when I list over 60 new items in the next few days...that's a lot of Etsy spending on listing and marketing!

Hoping I finally have the chance to make some friends here in the Etsy community.

Hi creme! You joined a little later than I. (Great shop btw). Yep - keeping a positive attitude is the key to achieving anything in life.... though it is very hard at times.
I think we all feel closed in... well...I feel squished. LOL I can't seem to stop myself from leaning to the right whenever I'm in here...so so so strange.
Good luck on your listing spree!! Sigh...I need to get motivated again.

I'm so glad to see folks in this thread. We're gonna see if we can make a big tent work...but I know it's gonna be hard. At least if they shut us away, we'll have a place to go where we know a few folk, for whatever we want to talk about at the moment. There are a lot of helpful Etsians here, with a lot of good knowledge and expertise...as well as fun!

It's so funny to hear people say they feel closed in. It is a weird sensation, isn't it? Has anyone ever read "A Wrinkle in Time?" This whole thing reminds me of that book.

I think we will get this rolling, once everyone gets in the habit of coming here - checking out the forums was just by habit most of the time for me. Now I start here first, to see if anything's
new.

I think we'll all get mre comforatble once we just start talking instead of talking about being here.

Love your shop, chicfragments! I read Somerset mags all the time - I'll look for you in the March issue. It's my goal this year to get something into one of their publications. I live only a few miles from them - maybe I'll just knock on the door every day until they answer.

Thanks rrizzart... I live in A.V. too, we're probably neighbors and don't know it! It's a small world and a small Etsy world too♥ I'm excited about this upcoming feature in Somerset. I love all their mags and my dream is to be in the Belle Armoire Jewelry publication... some day when I make something spectacular enough I'll submit it... until then I just drool over each issue and all the amazing artists inside it:)
