Team Planning, Information, Chat..and Daily Goodies

Hi Team, Welcome to our new Home as the Etsy Teams Fellowship Society! New Members will be joining us all week and we'll start this train's wheels rolling on Monday July 7th.

Our first order of business will be promoting our leaders and creating our team structure and backbone !

Jen, that makes sense having it the same thing. Less confusion for visitor, future shop owners, team members of all of the Etsy shops and potential customers.......Example when you list the name of a Society, its members and what they are all about......you dont usually give them another Name to go by within another community, especially when we are all trying to project the same thing.

I absolutely agree! Team Name & Blog Name the same is a good idea. I read through the Etsy help articles about using "Etsy" and the way I read it, as long as you don't misuse or misrepresent it, you can use it.

I think keeping it similar as the group name would be more effective for people to know it's us and be coherent with our team. Something like Fellowship Society - simple and easy sounds good to me!

Feel free to do whatever you want tho ;) Just my opinion!

Team name and blog name the same seems straight forward. Think the question that needs to be answered - what is the purpose of the blog, intended audience, what type of content -- answering these questions might clarify what name the blog should have.

and for the content.....I'd like our blog to be as well rounded as our team is!

I look to educate with lots of how to's with our blog, to give diy people some reason to love us, to share stories about working artists and the teams that go out of their way to promote them., which is inspiring...to show our team members how much we can do for them through our philanthropy as captains and leaders through the arts and our love for this humanitarian issue of how to support one's own family., through knowledge sharing creative living and art information, and to showcase our member's and sellers., and showcase our all team promotions and sales and hottest items we see :) I'd like to do a special Team of the Month Blog Feature where every month we'll Feature a new team., showcase their most active artists, and talk about what they are about. ... and what they've accomplished!... (how will we choose who to feature you may ask????? well the leaders here will be paying attention to who is active and participates most!!) as on all teams.... you can benefit from just being around successful people, but the more you put into it, the more you will get out.

and our newsletter will be loaded with tools for the captains and leaders... your going to all want it!!!!! It will be designed specifically provide you as captains and leaders with a month in advance merchandising calendar to provide for your team members for event planning... dates for specific opportunities and events you will not be offered elsewhere .. as well as a Lesson plan to work on with your teams whether it be starting social media accounts, seo, networking classes, or group promoted #hashtags and tools to share for promotion of your teams sales.

So if you follow us monthly through our newsletters and blog, your team should be well educated and I think with this organized back up for lessons - the things we output will be useful!, and by all working on them at the same time we will be on the same page and be able to bring any questions back to our table here to all answer so there is no stone left unturned........ and I'm hoping you will be proud of the legacy that we leave behind in our work, and that the knowledge we provide especially through our blog will help people-

I'll add more team boards today, Mary Beth and I are working on making a team directory and links.// it's a little work doing the spreadsheet so Mary Beth we love you for putting it together in such an organized manner for us.. Kudos for helping us put this together so well!

and Norma, still no luck getting you added on the pages, My last Idea is to have you email me your last name and I'll have to contact the pages admin and ask them to check out the problem and get you added on here. I've tried all the links and everything that you gave me. Don't worry though., we'll get this bug worked out one way or another!

I use google translate for orders that need translation. :) go to google.. select google plus.. then more options, then under business tools it will have the option for " translate ". You have to be signed into your google account to do it though
