processing a partial return?

I have a customer who bought 4 things and wants to return 2. she paid via direct checkout. How do I process a partial refund and where does the money to refund her come out of?

Go to completed orders, click on the receipt number, and then "manage order". It's pretty self explanatory from there. The money will come out of your shop account if there is a balance in it, otherwise, it gets charged to the credit card you have on file with Etsy.
