Reimbursement for overage in Shipping

My customer requested a refund for shipping which I have done in the past through Paypal.

However this is my first sale through the direct check out option.

I have already sent a convo that I would honor any shipping overage to the customer upon purchase.

I just emailed the client that the package has been shipped, and that the shipping, confirmation and insurance came to $21.89. I asked if it would be acceptable for me to round up the amount to $25 to allow for materials. If she agrees, then I will owe her $9.

My question, how do I get the funds to her using the direct payment option?

My same dilemma....that and the fact that I think Etsy still charges fees on refunded postage.

Hope someone has an answer.

If you go to your order page and look on the right side about half way down, you'll see Manage Order. If you hover over Manager Order you'll see the option to issue a refund or cancel.

I've refunded postage overages and Etsy did reimburse me for the fees on it.

Nora, thank you, those directions worked. I recieved an auto msg from Etsy Hotaru, I will check in a little while to see if they did credit me the exta fees.
