New order not showing in open order section in shop payment account

I have 2 open orders (made to order items) from DC payments. The most recent one is in "order activity" and the older one is in "open orders". The older one needs to be shipped in order to release payment and the newer one says payment will be available oct. 26.

It looks like means the ship before payment may have been lifted, but I didn't get the notification that others are talking about. I'd love clarification from admin- but welcome any insight- and also some idea of how shop payment account will now look- no more "open orders section"?

They said it would happen by the end of the week. Must be that it isn't retroactive.
I have a big custom order sitting there, and it hasn't been moved

My blue banner showed up when I went to edit some draft listings. Thought it was odd, but.......

I haven't checked my other shops yet.

I can report the same sort of thing. I have a custom not released that was ordered before the lift and one that processed to ready to deposit after the release.

I really don't blame them for not making the money stuff retro active. It would be a nightmare trying to sort things out if there was a bug/error in the roll out.

Thanks, everyone! I will try an edit and see what happens. I agree that retroactive action would be crazy- I just found the way it looked very confusing and if I hadn't read about this new change I wouldn't have known anything. Hopefully I'll get another sale today to check it out further!

Oh- I just saw the "blue banner"- it's on various pages- listings, sold orders, just not on the Shop Payment account, where I was first looking.

Apparently it's not retroactive which is frustrating. I wonder if we request it they will release funds on an individual basis?

I agree with pinchthemuse- I think it would be really overwhelming to do this with every Etsy shop out there using DC. I'd be afraid of error, personally. But I guess it can't hurt to contact them?
