My First DC Sale- When $ Comes?

Just made my first DC sale- do I have to wait a long time to get the money???? How does it work when you first set it up? Seems like funds not available until AFTER I ship it or October 28th???? Thanks for help!

after you ship it is about a 3 to 4 day wait..however you can ask for it sooner ..by clicking on the ask for money sooner button right before you say you just shipped it..sometimes I miss it..it could be called something else as well..I am getting ready to ship something on Monday and will let you know exactly unless someone else knows for sure..

Congrats on your first DC sale!

As soon as you've shipped the item, mark it as shipped. That's what starts the process to get your money to you.

After you've marked the item as shipped, Etsy only has a 1-day wait now before your money "becomes available." However, then you need to wait till the following Monday for Etsy to deposit the money to your bank account automatically. That process will likely take a day or two until the money shows up in your bank account; just keep an eye on your bank account via online banking and you'll know when it's actually there.

Since you're shipping on Monday, chances are that if you choose to wait for Etsy to do the automatic deposit, it may be NEXT monday (10/29) for the automatic deposit ... or you could probably go ahead and schedule an earlier deposit. The info should all be on your Shop Payment Account page.

I just made my first DC-paid sale on Friday so I'm new to this too, but that's my understanding of how it works anyway!

New info.... you no longer have to mark an item "shipped" to get your money!

For sellers who have sold items for at least 90 days, you can get your money with a one day wait. Otherwise it is 3 days.
