It's not necessarily a glitch, Some times Etsy needs "more" time to authorize/verify the credit card payment. From what I have read it usually only takes a few hours, but can take longer.
Off the top of my head I don't know that there is a dedicated email for direct checkout, but you could go through the support email.
I've also read that if you directly convo one of the leaders of this team they are pretty responsive and helpful.
A reminder, although you probably know this, don't ship or re-list until it clears or fails. If it the payment fails the item gets re-listed automatically.
