Do you have any goals set up for your shop? Setting goals and writing out an ideal 'roadmap' could be really helpful for your Etsy shop. If you do, share your goals here and we'll see if we can help you achieve them!

What would you like to accomplish the coming month, over the next six months, or the next year? (Or, if you dare, over the next five years even?)

My niece and I set a huge goal of $1000 in sales for the months of Oct, Nov, and Dec. To much to our surprise we have it the other two months and are very close to hit it this month. WOOT WOOT! We have really hit the teams, made treasuries and continued to list one thing every so hours. Good luck to everyone:)

A few weeks ago I met my goal of getting my shop inventory up to 100 items. I'm now at 106.

I maintain the weekly goal of tweeting everyday (been getting a lot of new followers).

After Christmas goal: start making infinity scarves for spring line. More specifically: 5 scarves a week until I've made 15 total [5 in each of the 3 colors I've chosen]

Hello everybody!

The most important goal I have is to make people trust me and my products,
that's why we have a 20% sale but even with this percentage of sale we had only 1 sale....which is very dissapointing ...what do we do wrong?
My other goal is to list more products so I have a lot of projects that I'm working on right now.

My goal is to double my sales from my previous year.. I get a ton of people come to my shop and also get the likes and even custom inquiries ... It mock up a graphic sample for them and work with my customer the best I can to get that sale even if it comes down to a simple 10% discount. BUT ... I don't get the sale...
I love this time of the year because I'm almost guaranteed sales but out side of Christmas it SUPER dead for me. I would like business year round not just at Christmas bc my other goal is to make etsy a full time job for me. I know it can happen if I put the time in.

My shop is such a baby right now. I just set it all up yesterday, so I have very small goals so far. Currently my goals are:

- Listing 30+ items by mid-January
- Increasing views by being active in teams, creating treasuries, using Twitter, and Facebook (no paid services yet)
- Have my first 5 sales by mid-January
- Pay attention to, plan for, and market specifically for buying holidays (i.e. valentines day, mothers day, possibly fathers day, etc).

Great topic! Having plans and goals is something that will definitely help our Etsy shops grow and flourish!

Yes, my goal was to have 100 sales by the end of the year. The way Etsy counts, I have 98. The way I count I have 113. Not to bad!!

My goals are fairly simple. To have 2 sales a week in the next year. In addition to add more options for the puzzles I create for more situations such as an engagement, birth of child, graduation, etc...

My goal is to have fun and list regularly. Since the beginning of last month, I've added a few new items and that's progress. I am a stay at home mom with 4 kids that are homeschooled, so I take it step by step. My goal for the last few months has been to make AT LEAST 2 sales/month and I've done that so far. I will aim higher as I grow, but for now it's nice to cover the cost of patterns/supplies to feed my hobby and provide people with items they enjoy.

I would like to start selling more jewelry in my shop. I sell supplies on another shop and do very well with that. One goal I have for the new year is to attend a business boot camp locally which will assist me in fine tuning things with my business.
I would also like to know what anyone might think about critiquing my photos. I believe they are generally good, but any tips on making them better are welcomed!

I've spent a fair bit of time this past week brainstorming for the coming year.

My goals for 2014 are to reorganize my work space and inventory control. I've also got some new product ideas in the works. The biggest goal for 2014 is to retake all of my photographs and revamp my descriptions, etc. Advertising and social media are also on the slate for experimentation with.

Hopefully that will bring in more sales.

My main goal is to get a total of three sales a month from now. I just started, I have many rings to sell but do not have photos of them yet. I work so many hours a day, and do not have the time to do it.. Anyway, I have a goal to have at least 12 rings and sell at least 3.
