Do you have any goals set up for your shop? Setting goals and writing out an ideal 'roadmap' could be really helpful for your Etsy shop. If you do, share your goals here and we'll see if we can help you achieve them!

What would you like to accomplish the coming month, over the next six months, or the next year? (Or, if you dare, over the next five years even?)

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

I have long-term and short-term goals.
In the short-term (next 4 months) I will be creating my little critters like crazy.
I am taking them to a Renaissance Faire and going to try to sell them.

My long-term goals are to open another etsy shop so that I can sell jewelry, masks, and random gypsy-ish items. I also plan on keeping up with my Lady Buxton store and maintaining an online store of 100 items or more.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

My goals for this year:
- At this moment I'm only selling bows in my shop. I want to expand out to other accessories before the year ends.
- I would like to become more familiar with SEO's and tags so that I can get some traffic into my shop, hoping that that would create some sales.
-By the end of this month, I would like to have 25-30 listings.
-Let's not leave FB out! I would love to have 100 followers by the end of the year!

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

My goal is to make my first sale by the end of September. I have one favorite, which I'm very excited about! But eventually, I'd like to be able to spend all of my time making organic cosmetics...it's definitely addicting, haha. So just one sale to go by the end of next month, I can do it.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

My goal for my shop is to double my sales every month and make sure each product I make is of high quality.

Eventually, I'd like to so some custom work orders. My only custom order that is available are my Tree of Life pendants.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

I would like to get a sale soon.

My long term goal would be to get 2 sales a week. But there is a lot of work for me to do, before I will reach this goal.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

I opened my shop Oct. 30, 2012, I have some sales, but would like to get more.

Wondering if one could put too many different items for sale in one shop. Is that possible?

I would like to get more visitors to my store, it seems like it goes in streaks.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

I'm with all the other team members whose goal is the first sale! Good luck to everyone! My other major goal is building up inventory over the next few months to coincide with the upcoming holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), since I'm guessing those are popular times for greeting cards.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

I am just trying to figure out if I have my things tagged properly. I don't know how to direct people to my shop yet, so sales are slow. I would like to make a sale per week, but right now I am one per month.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

I opened my shop 2 months ago and I'm pretty happy about the sales (6 items already), still my long-term goal is to make at least one sale per day, but now I should concentrate if my listing is properly done, if all the tags are chosen correctly so I could have more visitors to my store. As it is the very beginning for me it looks a bit tough to understand how etsy marketing is working and if it is correct to place many listings at the beginning... Though in present I have hundreds of items to be placed but ... I'm afraid to make a mistake by listing all of them right now,

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

My goal for this next month is to gain 100 more Facebook likes (I'm on 815 now), Bring my items listed to 100 listings (I've got 94 now), complete 7 custom painting commissions (haven't even started yet), and get my work into 5 more retail shops. I'd also like to expand my robot tote bag line to hopefully 4 or 5 new designs, but that's going to depend on how well profits go to afford the overhead.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

I have been in a creative slump lately, so I have been working on promoting the 100+ items I currently have in my shop. I've been participating with teams, making treasuries and faving like crazy. I am now over 3000 favs in the last 30 days and working toward 5000 favs in the last 30 days. Just hoping to increase traffic for holiday sales!

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

My first goal that I am working towards is getting things listed. I am at 21 items in my shop but currently have close to a couple hundred different things made. I would like to be where I am selling several items a week for now. I am a mother of 5 and it has taken me almost 6 months to get this much built up. I wanted to make sure I had a good selection of things before re-opening my shop. I had to let it go inactive last year due to health problems.
I would overall like to see my shop make enough that my husband can stay at home with us and just help me with my business. Just hoping that I can achieve that goal in a couple of years. I look forward to tips and information on growing my shop.

Re: Did you set goals for your shop?

My goals are: to list at least 3 items per week and to sell 3 or more items per week.
I am currently working on some items and hope to add more selection to my shop in the very near future.
