I thought a chat thread would be good for sharing just about everything as well as having a good old chit chat while we do so =)

At the moment I am eating cheese and crackers and then I plan to research the restrictions that were on women in the eighteenth century. I have an assignment due next Friday based on the visible and invisible walls in womens lives.

Been busy with everyday life this past week. Also trying to make a lot of items to have plenty for two three day craft shows I'm doing this Fall. They are back to back weekends so I must have a lot made since there is only one week between them. Not a lot of time to make much in a week.

Hello everyone, sorry haven't been around much. We had my OH's dad'd 65th birthday on Sunday and then his brother and girlfriend decided to have a big massive drunken go at me for absolutely no reason as far as I can tell. So I haven't been feeling too great really. Cannot wait until I have enough money to move out.

On a better note, I made almost £100 in July and didn't even realise it and I made a few sales over the weekend so will be packing up orders and posting them today

Happy hurricane day everyone! I'm currently frantically doing laundry in anticipation of losing power for an extended period of time. Isaac is currently still a tropical storm thankfully but it's heading right for me. The eye is supposed to pass right over my town! So I may not be around for a few days. >.<

Haha this is going to sound bad but I only know where that is cause I read the sookie stackhouse novels.

Its even been on our news, I think they're saying its a cat 1 at the moment and headed straight for New Orleans again. Hopefully it'll fizzle out as it goes along and not do too much damage.

Thanks Luna.. so far the storm is moving at a crawl... we were forecasted to get it at 7pm yesterday and it still hasn't arrived, it's basically just sitting over new orleans :-/

Severely having a lack of motivation today. Just having one of those days where I cannot be bothered to do anything. I've had new beads arrive and know what I'm making with them but I can't even bring myself to that.

I'm going to blame it on the rain which hasn't stopped since 6am this morning.

Thanks MeAndMoms, feeling a bit better today and planning on getting some earrings and a bracelet made. Then comes the wait until I have some more money before I can buy more supplies.

We actually have ok weather here today. Its a bit windy but its dry at least which is a great improvement over yesterday. I had to go to the doctors and I got soaked.

I'm also torn between buying some new materials or buying a DRESS! I've been eye-ing this dress for a while and I have enough funds to get it. Decisions, decisions! :)

Thanks everyone, the storm has passed and we are fine. Our electricity was restored this morning so things are looking up. I prepped a bunch of new earrings yesterday while the power was out, hope everyone finds some motivation! :)

Glad the storm passed ok Erin. I was naughty and bought some new charms but I figured you gotta spend money to make money really and I'm still in profit so that's good.

I'm kind of tempted to buy this car that I've found... It seems really good and mine is at the end of its tether. I tried to parallel park yesterday and it was impossible then my dad tried but it refused to reverse over this grate and when I got back in to drive it to a new place I couldn't get the hand brake off so I'm just a bit like >.> now.
