I hope you're all ready for the festivities. I just have a few more gifts to wrap and the spare bedroom to organise for our guests. The fridge is almost full, we have chocolate, cake and enough food to feed us for a month! Just need to go out and get last minute things on Monday and we're good to go.
What's everyone doing this fine Sunday? I've been having a lazy day in front of the log fire. Luckily we had a new load of logs delivered yesterday as we were literally down to our last 4 logs. Phew. :-)
We're experiencing a very warm spell here in France. I do hope that's the end of the winter but I have a feeling we have more cold weather to come. Still, it means more time in front of the fire being creative. I'm currently working on a diptych of birch trees, 2 large paintings with loads of detail. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't started them!

I'm in the studio painting a large diptych of birch trees. It's a very long drawn-out process as the trees were first drawn in pen and ink, the background is painted in acrylics and the trees will later be painted with oils. Hopefully I'll be able to show it here in the next couple of weeks. :-)
Hi everyone... I am Rebecca one of the leaders on this fabulous team. I apologize that I have not been around as of late but I just moved and life was a bit hectic. I am back now so if anyone needs anything just send me a note. I just finished making an invention and my partner and I had to patent our design... what a process!! We created something that people can use at the salon while they are getting their hair washed to make the basin much more comfortable. I am also in the process of making another etsy shop for my new item!! I am very excited to share my products with you and learn about yours. Have a great day!!

In this period I've been very busy because i had to complete my studies but now I'll try to stay here more often than before and list something more in my shop, working more on it! :) How are you doing? happy sales to everyone!!! :)
Trying to get the chat thread going again. I guess with the lovely weather, you're all having fun outside? I've just moved to a new home with a small lake so I'm swimming every day which is just heavenly. I'm trying to make the most of it because we won't be here very long.

We've been having incredible weather here too. Isn't it lovely to be so close to the water, so that we can have the opportunity to swim! Like yourself Cathy, we also live close to water. We are a 5 minute walk from a lovely beach. We can swim in the Pacific Ocean!
@rockvintagesoul, well I would prefer to swim in the ocean! I'm quite envious, we are so far from the sea and I really miss it. One day. At least meanwhile we do have a gorgeous lake so I'm content with that for the moment.
Hi I'm Joyce. I make pottery and sell some photos too. I don't chat very much here as I can't find this chat buried in the others. Maybe we have too many forums. The other teams I am on the chats are on the top or near the top and visible. Is it possible to keep this one on the top.

I just got back from a house-hunting trip which was a bit of a waste of time but I did find a possible gallery contact where I may be able to sell my paintings so it was a completely wasted day.
