I made a small simple web page to keep track of events in the area that I might be interested in, but then I thought maybe I should share my information.

If anyone has any information about events please feel free to post. Anything from a small church bazaar to a huge craft fair.

@BelleCouleur - the McLean Jewelry Showcase in February. The app is closed for the 2012 show, but you could check it out this year to see if it's your thing.

Is the December show for Maker's Market outside? I couldn't tell from looking at their site.

Also, I know some DC Craft Mafia members are in this group. Any word on a December show this year?

I am doing the Holiday Mart in Columbia MD on Dec. 3 - I think it is already closed...but next year...

and the St. Mary's Church Show in Old Town Alexandria - on Nov. 18th and 19th...don't know about those

I'm going to be at the HCWBA Holiday Showcase on November 10th. It's in Columbia MD and takes place that evening. Contact me it you are interested and I can pass your information on to the planners. my next show is Dec 2nd, Howard County Center for the Arts in Ellicott City is hosting a holiday sale from 5:30-8:30 pm. not sure if they have openings still and i have never participated before so i don't know how big/popular it is but one thing that caught my attention is that they can run credit card purchases (if a vendor wishes to do it) and then they send checks in the mail and there's no charge for them running the credit card transactions. it's good for small business owners like me who don't have the funds to accept credit card payments at shows. we'll see how it goes...i hope i do well. I haven't been doing well in the school craft fairs, i think my stuff don't sell well at those.

Erin, I wish I knew about that Holiday Showcase, definitely keeping an eye on it for next year. I was at the holiday boutique show at Over the Rainbow Salon and Spa in Clarksville last week and did pretty well

BTW~ I did the Cornacopia Ars and Crafts event at the Community Centere in Manassas Park on the 19th of Nov.
Jennifer, that Marketing Mgr., didn't avertise well~ A small very limited blurb in the local paper but it was very short lived, NO signs to be found, and very few customers ventured in....

The staff there is GREAT and really upbeat though. Jennifer does send out a survey for opinions and input from vendors which is good.
She said she wil advertise better for the Spring event.
