Hi, I'm Pam -

The Owner and Creator of Pam's Fab Photos. I'm a hiker and a snowshoer and the photographer while out on the trail and in some other instances.

I just started blogging today. It was one of my goals for 2014. There are many things I am interested in and some I am quite passionate about so I think I can create an interesting blog as I go along.

I HAVE A QUESTION: When I publish my blog, who will see it?

If you build a blog and keep at they will come. It happens naturally if you keep up with adding content. Keeping updated regularly with content is Very important. It keeps you more 'valid' in the search engine. The search engine feeds off content so you must feed it.

Blogging works Very well for photographers.

Any 'keywords/phrases' you want them to find you on Etsy for they will find your blog for the same phrases/keywords.

It takes time but you can easily grow a following/subscribers. (I dont have following I have a subscribe to feed for my blog)

Also followers are not important for the search your content is. Dont worry about 'followers' just keep at it. :)

Blogging is a fantastic way to show some personality and connect with people. Make sure you have commenting enabled.

Hi! I'm Karisa the owner of Premier Gift Solutions.

I've actually been in business part-time for about 2 years. I work full time as an elementary music teacher during the day, and work my business at night.

I started out making baskets, and have kind of migrated into bow making and jewelry. I am also in the process of partnering with my daughter (a budding 13 year old artist) who is also contributing to some of the jewelry design, and creating prints.

I am somewhat new to Etsy, and am coming over as a Top Rated Seller on Ebay. (Their fees are ridiculous). I'm still learning how to get Etsy to work for me, as there are a lot of differences.

I've had a blog/website for a while. I've accumulated a few followers and a small mailing list. I haven't really been consistant with any of them though, because I feel like I run out of good things to write/email. So I'm hoping that joining this team can help spark some new ideas!

I'm excited to learn from you!

Hi all! I'm Michi.
Although I'm not really a blogger yet (published a couple on BlogSpot a while back with focus on my portraiture photography then moved it over to my website but didn't keep it up). I'm active on FB and have used it almost as a blog. One of my goals of 2014 is to become active in the blogging world. I've decided to learn Wordpress (any suggestions are welcome). I do have a website which would probably be the best choice on where to host it, not sure yet (again, any suggestions! lol). It will definitely be a multi-interest blog..... all my various crafting, my photography and digital art designs (I've worked on quite a few cd covers), and cooking (recipes with focus on health, most being vegan friendly).
At the same time I need to get my husband set up with a blog. He is a musician/composer/producer who has quite a following already on FB and Twitter. He has a lot to blog about! I know he would enjoy it as would his fans.
So.....lots to do and lots to learn in 2014. I was excited to read about this team in the forums, sounded like a perfect place to be.

I Highly recommend Wordpress website and blog in one. A private hosted Wordpress. Start up for hosting, a professional theme, and domain/transfer will be about $120 for the year.

If you can afford it many Etsy sellers set up Wordpress sites and you take over. Just keep up with updates and blogging. You skip huge learning curve working with a designer! Its more affordable than you think as well.

I use Blogger. I haven't been very good at writing consistently, but I really want to work on that. So far, I mostly write about quilting and sewing, but I want to add more pictures and variety to my content.

You made me laugh, Kelly, as I read your last post...I'm still chuckling, in fact.

One of the things I noticed in Blogger is that I can schedule my posts (there's a clock on the right hand side) - this is REALLY helpful to me. I can write up a post or two, as I am inspired, and schedule it/them and then I'm done for a day or so.

I do draft posts too. I dont make a time for them I just publish when Im ready. When I blog a wedding its an all day project so I slack ! haha It be quicker if I didnt make story boards but I love them so thats what i do.

Hi, I'm April! I'm an Illustrator, painter and currently learning web design/development. I have a website/blog set up (blog is a standalone Wordpress blog with a theme, I haven't had time/been bothered yet to build a custom one to match my site).

I've just started regular blogging although I've had a sort of sketch blog for about a year. Previously I would just post a sketch with minimal text, I decided about a month or so ago to start blogging with actual thought out posts and try to use my blog to the best of my ability. It's such a great promotion tool it seems ridiculous not to be using it.

I need to start scheduling posts and then I can just just write a bunch out in a block on the weekend and that's my blogging for the week!

Hello, hello.

Its been awhile since I've blogged, and I just revamped my blog page. I like that this team is small, its easier to get around and see what questions have already been asked, hehe. Ive already read a lot from the discussions and learned a lot of SEO tips I didn't know about before! I just started blogging last week, so I'm still in the beginning stages of figuring out where my blog will go.

I like blogging on photoshoots I do, in progress projects, purchases I've made, and some personal posts too.

Hi! I'm new to the team. I've been blogging for several years but made a mistake a couple of years ago when I tried to change the name of my blog. It finally meant starting over. I lost a lot of followers. I've been struggling to gain new ones for a while. Right now I can't load photos to my blogger blog. Does anyone know how to fix that?
