What are you working on??????????

This morning I did a quick draw exercise. Gave myself 1 hour or less. I used acrylic and painted a portrait of a pig......I'm working on loosening up. I tend to get tight quickly.
Well this pig is loose and a bit interesting.
Have a painting floating around in my head that I hope to work on later. Will be gone for a while today. I'll use oil for the new one. I mostly paint alla prima.
So what are you working on????????

Right now, I'm working on a series of watercolors of Great Blue Herons in different poses and surroundings. I'm trying to get it just right, so I can have a really solid one to enter in a local competition, next month. I've never done a competition before, so I'm kind of nervous. Here's hoping it works out!

I am hoping to do a small 8x10 lightning piece- or red tree piece- tomorrow before starting on several commissions over the next several weeks...

tweaking a couple of little paintings.....sometimes it nice just to put them where II can look at them often and decide what I want to do before I consider them finished
