Running sales and offering coupons can create loyal customers and encourage repeat business. Today, we’re launching new tools that let you easily run and manage sales and coupon offers for your Etsy shop.
With these new tools, you’ll be able to schedule sales in advance, set order minimums, and create coupon codes right from your shop. We’ll also give you detailed stats about how your sales and coupons perform so you can make informed decisions about future offers, all in the new Sales and Coupons dashboard.
Here’s how we plan to make these new features available:
August 1 - Access new tools: You can preview the new Sales and Coupons tools in the Marketing section of your Shop Manager, where you can schedule a promotion to begin as early as August 8. If you’re currently running coupon codes in your shop, those will remain active and appear in your Sales and Coupons dashboard.
August 8 - Preview the new experience: You’ll be able to start running sales and coupons promotions in your shop. Any seller who runs a promotion with the new Sales and Coupons tool will get a special preview of the new shopping experience before we make it visible to all buyers. That early access will allow you to explore new search filters and see updates to listing cards and listing pages for items that are on sale. We’ll also start to introduce these new features to a small number of shoppers as we gradually make them available to everyone.
August 22 - Buyers can shop promotions on Etsy: All shoppers will be able to browse and shop promotions on Etsy through new search filters and updates to the listing page.
