Today's feature is Crystal Fox Treasures. Crystal lives in Etobicoke, Ontario, which isn't far from me. Crystal creates handmade jewelry and other goodies to list in her shop.

'I tried my hand at a number of techniques before settling on wire work. There is something very special to me about bending and shaping the wire either with a tool or by hand. There is an element of magic and unpredictability in working with natural materials like metal, stone and pearls. Mother Nature is a great design partner. I let my materials tell me what they want to become. I may start out to make pearl and copper earrings, but in the process, the design that comes may work better with amethyst chips. No two are ever exactly alike."
