If you want to surf, you have to be in the water when the waves come up! I pretty much live by that on a daily basis. As a sea glass hunter, seller and jewellery maker, I sometimes need inspiration to get to the beach in lousy weather, or when i feel tired, but then i remember the quote, and my own version... If you want to find the sea glass, you need to be on the beach as the tide goes out. This is both factual, as the glass gets trodden into the sand and shingle, and also inspirational, as it's the sea glass that has taken a hobby and turned it into a successful Etsy store, which i now rely on as a source of income.
