This is my favorite: "if it is going to be, it's up to me" but I don't know who wrote it. :)

Here is a good one from one of my favorite writers whom I will be talking about soon: Ralph Waldo Trine ( I guess Ralph Waldo was a very popular name back then!) he said:

This quote is from an amazing book entitled "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe. I think it fits this thread nicely ;)

This is from one of my other favorite authors, this guy's name is Prentice Mulford. He too was in the New Thought era which I hope to write about here sometime... this quote always sticks with me

Wow... you guys are all so amazing. I'm loving the quotes! Here's one that's a bit more obscure, yet it's from a very famous artist. Sometimes, when I'm in my studio, I think about this one:
