I'm Mila and I'm from Amsterdam in The Netherlands where I work as a make-up artist. I have a teeny tiny jewelryshop here and love making jewelry when I have the time.
I love movies, music, fashion, art and nature and am addicted to great tv shows like Mad Men and Justified. I won't write the whole list here....;)).

Hi I'm Amandeep. I have always wanted to paint and sell my artwork, but have had trouble finding the time to invest in getting my work seen by anyone outside of friends and family. I was studying a Primary Teaching course and have put that on hold as I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I am using time in between sessions of chemotherapy to paint and sell my work.

I am a huge fan of positive thinking an inspirational quotes. My favourite at the moment is:

"Some people say that motivation doesn't last. Neither does bathing...which is why we recommend it daily."

Hope that's motivating (excuse the pun!)

I opened my etsy shop, u m b r e l l a f a n t, last month and I am learning so much. My creative passions lie in wiring and beading (especially old things), seeking out vintage wares (especially china and glass), growing unruly plants (especially natives) and drawing (especially birds). Oh, I've loved taking photographs too, for decades! Like the quotes I love, my shop is a collection of things that move me.

Hello, I'm Alina, and I'm fairly new to Etsy, having started a shop earlier this year. So far I'm loving the whole experience.

My first love has been reading and over the years I have amassed over 5000 books that are busting out of my library and making their way into every room of my house (which constantly irritates my husband and confuses my cat) .

I am a graphic designer and photographer by trade, but due to some health issues lately I have been immersing myself in reading and uncovering vintage treasures (and sharing the results with others).

I am looking forward to discovering new amazing shops and products here on Etsy while growing my shop and learning the ins and outs of running an online business.

Hello there! I haven't had time to go through and read everyone's posts but I plan to soon! I am so happy and excited to be a part of this team. Who doesn't love good vibes and positive energy?!

So a little about me:

My name is Jessica, my shop is titled Intrinsic Journeys due to my love for inner-exploration, transformation, and life's many adventures. I have been making jewelry since 2010, when I needed extra cash or cheap gift ideas in college and the love for the process blossomed from there!

I live in the hills of Western Massachusetts, not far from the Berkshires, with my boyfriend and partner, Kyle. Kyle is a partner in my shop and is responsible for the amazing wire sculptures listed in the shop. I also live with my bundle of joy Zoey, a 6lb chihuahua I rescued last year :-)

By day I am a Mental Health Crisis Clincian, responding to mental health crises and assessing the safety and wellbeing of a variety of different people, from many different walks of life. I earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May and have hopes of eventually beginning a private practice that incorporates the benefits of Yoga and other forms of Holisitc Healing.

Being bombarded with reports of extreme stress, depression, and sadness I have come to one all too obvious conclusion: WE NEED MORE HEALING! Did I mention we also need more POSITIIVTY?? :) Hence the "healing" aspect of my shop. All the items I create are made with the utmost care and attention, and the creation of each and every piece is a form of meditation in itself.

Although I spend my life helping people overcome mental health crises, I myself struggle with my own anxiety and depression which prompted me to explore the benefits of Yoga and Mindfulness. I have been practicing Yoga since 2008 and began my Yoga Teacher certification this past year, with hopes of being a Certified Yoga Instructor by 2014. In short, YOGA CHANGED MY LIFE.

So with that, I was able to create a vision for myself that included what I was most passionate about: life, love, hapiness, positivity, Yoga, and meditation. All of the art and jewelry in my shop is inspired by one of those passions. My website/blog serves as a platform to share my journey.

Who am I? Nissa. Gemini. Easily distracted. I am the creator of my reality :). Some views from others are daughter, friend, mother, ex-wife, girlfriend (for now, haha) and artist.
How did I find this group? I was drawn to Necklush scarves (beeeeeeautiful) during a google image search. I believe we all create our own realities, and that creation is what keeps us going....so the name drew me in like a moth to a flame.

I am enjoying the rewards of a solid career in cosmetics, a profession I began behind a makeup counter in 1973. I advanced to counter manager, then makeup artist, and later became district trainer for a major cosmetic company. Each step used the skills I had learned from the previous position and gave me a new love for the career I had chosen. Over the years I learned in depth about skincare, color composition, makeup artistry, and the business of cosmetics.
I eventually started this business of my own formulating natural, healthy cosmetics. I opened my Etsy shop in 2011. I love every aspect of having a shop – from researching ingredient suppliers, formulating and adding new products, to the business end of it. Yes, even the paperwork. Etsy has given me a great opportunity to do what I’ve always loved. Now, after retirement, I love getting up in the morning and planning my ‘day in the shop’. Most of all, I love and value my customers. I want to thank each and every one for the chance to work with them, and for making my dreams come true.

I have 3 daughters, each having a wonderful husband and four beautiful grand daughters.

My life after retirement is full and happy. I am blessed every day.
