How do I invoice someone?

I have had someone invoice me for a specialized order. How do you do that?

You can either create a custom listing for them or you can send them an invoice through paypal. I usually do the custom listing and put their name in the title ("custom listing for so-and-so"). I have lost the fee price doing that before though- some people will say they want a custom listing and then never actually order it!

I've had one and I wasn't sure what to do. I just sent an invoice through paypal. The only bad thing with doing that is that it didn't show up on my etsy shop as having had a sale and they didn't leave feedback. It worked doing it that way though. So it's up to you what you want to do.
