Thanks for the dust Jen. I saw you sold out within minutes of posting. I’m happy for you...and a tad envious.
Poor Bandit had his dental today. He lost a few teeth. His bottom incisors, a small tooth behind his canine and a molar way back. My vet said all the brushing ‘helps’ but it’s mor of an internal problem with these tiny dogs. Their root rots from a bacteria and then they loose the tooth. He said he thinks it’s a breeding problem they are born with. At least his tongue doesn’t hang out. Poor baby.
Thanks everyone! It's hard to believe we have been married that long. We've been together over 23 years with dating.
Congrats on all the sales, Jen! I'll take some of that dust!
It's hot and humid here today. A bit cloudy too. I've had an earache off and on for a few weeks now. It's been a strange spring. No tornadoes here so far. (no complaints!), but it makes me wonder if that's why the pressure in my ears have been more intense than usual.
LOL Esme- I just finished a book about an Asperger's/autistic guy that kept things sorted ONLY together as prime numbers- always cracks me up!
So as bad as last month was, this month has been great for sales not only on Etsy but my website and Amazon- I will never in a million years figure out buying patterns at this rate! Grateful it's all stuff either already made or fast to make since I started doing seller fulfilled Prime on Amazon, some stuff goes out the same day it's ordered- kind of a fun rush!
I've had a significant number of direct traffic hits to my shop the past week. Not sure what I did or where the traffic is coming from. Anyone else notice similar traffic increase?
Hi Jaime - where are the pictures!!!!???? My bet is she's a cutie. My sales tanked last month but very good this month. Rained like a banshee here but got my plants in a head of that. Etsy is Etsy- never static- always changes
We went Durham yesterday for the Duke TIP Grand Recognition Ceremony. Stayed overnight, figured out where we needed to be. Got home a little while ago.
Pennee - I have a few pictures of her on instagram - @girllovesgloss I still can't believe how the time has gone!
Kathy - thank you, the name was the easiest thing! I had it picked up years ago and Dan loved it instantly.
I'm happy to still see some familiar faces here - it's been going so many years now! I sure miss the adrenaline of seeing those "Etsy Transaction" emails....
Hi Jaime! Everly is so cute. Looks like she’s doing well. You? You even have time for the blog, that’s great!
We’re cursed by disease this spring. Hedda was just recovered from a stomach bug and went to daycare yesterday. Everything was fine in the afternoon but when it was bedtime she suddenly had a fever again. I can’t believe this! She’s hardly been anywhere these past days.
I deactivated all my made to order stuff for now. I have orders open, lots to do at work and I don’t even have time to finish the orders I have.
Esme, I think you need a break! I know your husband sounds like a great helper but when you both work outside the home full time, there just aren't enough hours in the day sometimes to get done what you need to do let alone what you want to do
J could stay at home with hedda today which I’m really happy about. I have so much to do at work! Hopefully daycare again tomorrow and otherwise maybe the grandparents can help out..
Everly is such a cute name. She’s adorable and I wish I had a baby picture of my brother to show you. They have the exact same hairline!
I’m pretty sure I have that new multi-link bracelet sold from IG. I sent the invoice, just waiting for payment. Fingers crossed.
Esme, do you think Hedda could be teething? Some kids run fevers when they are teething. My son would keep a low grade infection and the least trigger it would flare. They finally gave him a shot of adult antibiotic each month for 3-4months and that did the trick.
Terri I've heard of other kids like that. Mine used to get ear infections so I used to give her benadryl each time she started getting a tooth, no more ear infections. Every kid is do different
The boys ran fevers and felt terrible when they were teething. K barely blinked an eye. She hardly ever gets sick and has only been on antibiotics once.
I'm okay with this. :D
I was going to try to get the other order I've got open done, but today is not the day. I am tired and grumpy and sore from yesterday. I'm taking a break.
So sorry Esme that Hedda has been sick so much. My girls got frequent fevers when they were little ones. Ear infections were responsible for some, but some were just mysterious.
