Good morning. I have been locked in my studio all week and I still need to finish so many pieces. I'm just taking a minute to post my "Sandwich". I miss chatting and I'll be back next week. The new canopy for my tent is supposed to arrive today. I sure hope it works. It looks like a cool but beautiful weekend for my outdoor show.

Laura, just another virus gene. It's not that interesting. It's just that DNA work is very standardized and everything should be easy and straighforward, but very often it isn't. So usually you start working thinking that it will take 1-2 weeks, but when things don't work it can take months. I have been at this one since mid August.

Kim, your sandwich is awesome! It even looks yummy. :) I'm allowed to elave early today so I'll go home and take pics of my sandwich :) :) Looking forward to seeing everyone elses.

i'm drinking coffee as fast as i can so i can have the presence of mind to be able to drive 90 mins to the gem show this morning. i think i caught the not sleeping bug. i haven't slept really well all week, it's catching up with me i'm afraid. let me see if i have time to post the sandwiches.

thanks esme. i made the ring to start but i finished it right away and got inspired to make a small series of lockets. just 3, sold 1 the day after i finished it. i have been told to "make more" - haha, easy for you to say is my reply.
