Re: Marching into Spring

Morning, everyone.
I made the fist page. Prob'ly a first for me.
It's very springy here in North Texas. My gerbers are blooming like crazy. Just hope we don't have a late freeze, as we often do.
Everybody have a great and productive day. I've a class, then have to vote, which might take a while. Dummy didn't vote early.

Moring.

I must have been rebelling against the time zone bias those of us in the west live with so much, ha. Still Feb 29 when I went to bed.

Or I may have forgotten...

Late wake up for m, but I have coffee now so it's all good.

Terri good luck on your match. I stopped work on my cuff last night too, I was getting tired and I know better than to keep working

Re: Marching into Spring

My digital calipers have gone haywire and are showing some very wrong results. I've tared, reset it, removed batteries and no go.

I searched for some new ones. The cheapest I could find were $50 and had a 21 business days delivery estimate. Nope, I can't survive that long without one and, besides, I could get the same one much cheaper from the US in that time frame. So I am looking at spending a lot more.

Re: Marching into Spring

Have you tried odd stuff like opening up to maximum with the batteries out? I have no idea, just thinking of all possible movements and actions.

Mine occasionally show a wonky reading, like 4mm off or more. I fumble around with opening and closing and so far seems to get back to working. Not critical for me so I make do.

Re: Marching into Spring

Just did and no go, CG. It is really wonky. It will measure 6.31mm for a sliver of an opening, then go up 10.08mm, down to 0.05 and so on.

Gosh, that's not frustrating at all, is it?

Re: Marching into Spring

Thinking of 'make-dos'.....if they're used mostly for stones, wondering if you have some known diameters and you could cut/file slots in a sheet of copper for a few sizes. Dumb idea....

I guess if they can be off that much they could also be off just a little and cause more problems.

Morning.

Started work with some thin but pretty ocean jasper cabs for earrings last night. Yep, cracked one.

Did you check eBay? I don't know about Brazil, but there are certainly cheap ones with free shipping in the US.

I see there's an eBay "equivalent" in Brazil called Mercadolivre.

Re: Marching into Spring

Wendy, that's awesome - way to go!

Now that I need to spend money on something that I have to have (new camera - mine bit the dust), no sales are coming in. Figures. hahahaha

Re: Marching into Spring

Wendy, nice quick sale on that.

That pic on IG could almost have been taken on my property. No poison ivy here though. They area areas rich with life.

Re: Marching into Spring

I can honestly say I love having medical personnel in my family. This last med ID I got in had a lot going on, and my mother, thankfully, knows the codes the EMT's will know by heart. I got the abbreviations from her.
