Well you have to think about how your fellow etsy sellers would tend to word it. "Help! I have an other charge in etsy fees" "Why am I being charged other?" "WTH etsy, now you're charging other fees?" "Does anyone know what an "other" charge in etsy fees are?" "OMG! Etsys trying to rip me off!! Charging "other" fees" Etc.........
My kitchen may be small and badly in need of renovation but a delicious focaccia just came out of the oven. Faux sun dried tomato spread is also done. I guess dinner is served.
C.G. Whitfield from cgwhitfield says At 84F outside and 86F inside, I'm just wiped out. Don't know how people in hot climates get anything done. ***** Answer: air conditioning. **** Our kitchen before the remodel did not function well. Getting rid of the pink was a bonus!
When I started looking at apartments, a great kitchen was high in the priority list. But the ones with good kitchens had seriously weird living rooms or small bedrooms. One had converted the curved balcony in the bedroom into a walk-in closet (yes, with curved walls and huge windows, since the owner couldn't remove or block the windows). This apartment was nearly perfect in all other aspects so we decided to take it. Great decision.
CG most businesses are open here, perhaps shortened hours, its really only the small mom and pops that are closed and government businesses.
For whomever asked, Canada Day isn't about sales, its more the one day where Canadians get really boastful about Canada - Canada flags everywhere, painted faces, lots of red and white, parades, fireworks and the pubs are pouring beer like water.
Downtown Vancouver had some sort of 420-esque celebration going on, I could smell it blocks away LOL.
CG - I do any outdoor work in the mornings or late evenings. High noon is strictly indoors. The sun here doesn't go down until after 8 pm in the summer, so there's a large window to do things later in the day.
I'm with Jen - you will not see pics of my sad little kitchen. I'm also with Beatriz - supper tonight kicked booty. ;)

And that's different from a normal day....?

Ha well the entire block around the art gallery is full of farmers market like stalls selling everything from pot brownies to hemp butter. Live music (thats norm) food trucks everywhere, so much tie dye...
It's light enough here in the summer to work outside from about 4:30am10:30pm, but when it's summer warm, mornings and evenings tend to be mosquito time. I have sometimes started working outside at 5:30am if it's cool enough.
But I really do have the habit of working at the bench in the mornings, that started in the store so I had time to make stuff. I do find it hard to transition from physical outside work to focussing at the bench. I don't dawdle outside, I hustle, and it gets the blood flowing, hard to slow down.
I probably wouldn't recognize downtown Vancouver now, except for the street layout. Did spend a bit of time there off and on years ago, would probably scare me now with the busyness.
Tonight's packing consisted of all my minerals, cabs, slices and jewelry. I took each and every one out and redrooled all over them...:)
That was followed by a nice cooling shower and now bed time...:D
The kitchen at my new apartment is functional and the landlord has updated the cabinets and backsplash, however I plan on talking with him to see if he's open to rearranging it for more functionality. It wouldn't be a small job because plumbing would need to be moved. I'm hoping to be in that apartment for a minimum of 5 years so we'll see!
I missed yesterday here entirely. I'm on some sort of power surge (no, not hot flashes but i get them too). I woke up at 4:15am and was just go, go, go, all day. I finished 2 more pairs of pothole earrings and a ring by 2:30pm and then went outside and did garden stuff the rest of the day. It seemed like the longest and most productive day ever.
Today I'm off to work. It's another steamy one here. I'll try to do some catching up from there.
I think I feel better this morning. I at least do not have a sore throat, and I was able to eat supper last night. I'm making coffee - we'll see how it goes from there.
K is in a better mood this morning, too. I hope whatever colicky gassiness she had yesterday is done. O_o
I installed some badass cabinets in my kitchen. By I, I mean me and a friend. Serious pain in the ass work, but they turned out great! I'll see if I can dig up a pick. And, um, you know bad ass is relative.
