Terri...yep...I should probably clue DH into that awesome pendant...but I have a feeling my b-day and Christmas will be Millie's surgery. :-(. Having her sane and back to work would be the best gift ever. I worked her on the lunge line today...and she is feeling much more herself. I might be able to ride her by the end of the week, and hopefully have a lesson next week.

We are under a flood watch. I emptied the rain gauge about noon and it was over 5 inches then. Last check it's back up over 3 inches and still raining.

Hubs is considerably better and grocery shopped today. This stuff also affects his thinking and it was much better most of the day too.
Terri you are in Florida right? Did you have to evacuate for the hurricane? My sister in law and the kids had to. Brother in law is actually in the coast guard as a helicopter pilot and was flying Anderson Cooper around Texas when Harvey hit.
Sun is hitting the shades of purple mums I planted yesterday. I’ve favored whites and warm yellows, orange and rust before. The different cooler coloring feels right and gives me a smile.

Just read that the Las Vegas shooter had lived very close to me until 2015. So tragic and unbelievable. I guess I understand terrorist motivation but I don't know if this guy was a terrorist or not.

Rain was incredible yesterday, I emptied the rain gauge at 5-1/2 inches and this morning it's back up to 4 inches. My neighbor to the rear has 5 acres and most of it looks like a big pond. The ground is still pretty saturated from Irma so I imagine that added to the local flooding. I hope we don't get much rain for a little while.
