O.k. I'll try to be a little more patient. It has been over a month since i received my shipment and alerted her to the the problem. Some of these stones I needed for a commission and actually just reordered them from another seller because I need to start work and the other seller isn't being very communicative despite my requests for an estimate on when they might be delivered.
Laura- sorry to be Ms pita but that is unacceptable- yes a convo is in order and you should state you have been quite patient and trying to be understanding of holiday rush is one thing but lack of response and stones is quite another- either ship the stones or credit your account. I'm a seller too- I was busy, but I still managed to respond to every convo- re-size and return every ring and bangle- it's what we do
Tink- she is my hero- I so want to be as good as her- I am always sorely tempted to buy one of her rings and just put it on my bench to look at until I can get that good. I know she casts- but she carves every wax and her stone setting is perfection
Laura, based on your last post, I would definitely pester them with a bit a guilt thrown in..."Unfortunately, I have a customer waiting for a design and I am unable to accommodate them because of your lack of communication and overall lackadaisical response to my repeated efforts to find out when my purchase will be shipped, let alone received. Please respond ASAP. If not, I will be forced to issue a chargeback of my purchase. Thank you for your understanding."
I love her work too, Pennee. Her lines are smooth and flowing. Purdeeee.
I know Pennee. That's what get's me. I would never blow off a customer after I told them that I'd get them the tracking number the next day. I'd at least own up to not finding it or....? Never leave my customer dangling.
I will wait until Monday. If i don't hear by then I'll email and convo them again. If this ends badly I'll take it to Denmark and let you know.
We usually have some couples here New yr's Eve, it's been a tradition for a long time, there's been a divorce after 40 yrs of marriage and one woman has a new partner and having them would be nothing but awkward, the other widowed fellow would likely not come so I think it's a good thing these two guys can go out, tell golf stories and drink cheap scotch.
I can pour a wine, load some metal clay into the kiln and chat with whoever is here.
Quick run in to say HAPPY NEW YEAR. We're not going anywhere, everyone's coming to us. 42 people due here in an hour and a half. Guess I better try to find something to wear.
So I'm popping in to say hello. Been gone for a few days. DH surprised me with a trip to Vermont to see the jewelry exhibit at the Shelburne. Guys, it's a must see. I was brought to tears, just so much beauty and creativity and inspiration, I was almost overwhelmed.
I took a bunch of iPhone shots of my favorite pieces, I'll share when I'm settled in.
I'm not caught up. And I'm not going to be online tonight. So I won't be able to start the new year thread.... Thought I would but I'm honestly exhausted, we had an intense but really fun few days.
