Good morning, I have been MIA because I've been too busy working and getting things out to shops.
Sorry to hear about Kit's M and your FIL Erin, hope the healing proceeds well. Glad to hear your DH's surgery is in the rearview Pennee what a relief.
CG sounds like you are at the interesting stage in your move, decorating and making things comfortable. Progress.
Not sure whether or not I'll keep active with Etsy, I've been dormant for so long. I did do a production run of earrings and bangles and some "cuffy" type bracelets and I'll see how well the tourist mrket responds then make a decision once I'm up to speed with changes.
One week here, from 9 - 12. Hubs has the cell phone, so if any calls get made , they'll go to him. Derp. One little boy pitched a fit when his mom left - hopefully, K is all right. O.o
They've moved FIL to a degree lower step down room. Same floor, just on the other side of the building. When hubs called, it sounded crazypants - I hope things are okay there, too. O.O
I agree, Terri...it is a very heated topic. The part that was the hardest, was just how angry and upset she became, when I was just trying to have a rational discussion. I had to walk away...she became so upset that she wouldn't even let me speak, especially when I was open to hearing her side of things. Ugh. I'm so sick of this political climate being so heated and divisive.
Working on custom orders still. They are coming along. I hope to have 2 of them finished up this week, then I just have a big one left to go.
Lol K has it right, bible study for babies. They learn and have a blast at the same time surrounded by other "babies" . How can that not be fun? Glad she enjoyed! Routine is overrated, you'll be back at it soon enough
Vacation baby school , I love it! Save that one somewhere and pull it out at her grade 12 grad. "K got her illustrious educational career start at "vacation baby school' !
I don't get why anyone would invent a mosquito, tick or stink bug- they have absolutely no value in any ecosystem and they are all annoying! Kill away Esme!
That’s adoreable Erin. I used to enjoy watching Art Linkletter’s Kids Say the Darndest Things segments. They should resurrect that.
Pennee - let’s hope kitty keeps on sleeping in. My Bandit is a sleeper. Sometimes we will have been up for hours and realize he’s still in bed. We go in to get him up and out and all he wants to do is roll over for tummy rubs. One day we will get a video of it up on YouTube.
I had to turn off the solar on our pool - it felt like a bath tub. Now it’s perfect. It’s really private in my backyard so mostly we chunky dunk.
Speaking of annoying bugs and ecosystems.... I just learned that many of the plants at homedepot have been treated with something so it kills the bees. That’s just horrible. Maybe it suppose to kill other pests but inadvertently kills bees. I’m not sure but supposedly it’s a different color pot so I’m going to investigate more but I hate the thought of killing bees. Wasps yes, bees no.
maybe that's a FL thing or deep south with more bugs thing Terri? Our Home Depot has signs everywhere that the plants are not treated with anything harmful to bees. We have a bunch of save the bee people in this area- seems like everyone I know has a bee hive!
Terri from Untwistedsister says Speaking of annoying bugs and ecosystems.... I just learned that many of the plants at homedepot have been treated with something so it kills the bees. _____________
Here they have started saying that some plants should not even be composted when they die. You should put them in the garbage. It can be insecticides but some plants are treated with plant hormones to make them flower a lot and not grow (to make them more suitable inside plants). If you have that stuff in your compost and use that in the garden the plants will not grow.
the bigger issue with composting spent plants isn't as much the hormones as it is the bug spores, fungus etc that can be on the plant- you compost, then transfer all that to your newly dug garden. That's been a thing for a long time- throw away or burn spent plants
