Had a great weekend visiting our family in Oklahoma.
And...we have rain today! Love the sound of rain and the rumble of thunder. We really haven't had any severe storms or tornadoe threats yet this spring which is highly unusual.
Glad you had a good trip, Gayle. Please send a little bit of that rain our way...I noticed last night how dry the pasture is getting. :( It's definitely been a very odd spring.
Gayle...I was going to tell you...I was in Kansas last weekend for a clinic and it's so beautiful!!! I was amazed at how green and how many wildflowers. Made me really miss home.
Chrissi, yes, this time of year is my favorite. It's the peak time for wildflowers. I should really be out hiking and hunting new flowers and grasses, but it's been so hot too. This rain is suppose to cool things off for a few days. Hope you all get some rain soon. My dad's garden is suffering and he waters every day.
Gayle...I just couldn't believe the amount of flowers! I drove from Lacygne to Chanute on Sunday and passed bar ditches filled with lilies. It was gorgeous! Not to mention how green everything was. So beautiful! We peak much earlier (end of May, beginning of June), so it was very nice to see so much color!
It's getting so dry here...things are already turning brown. I'm scared we're going to have a bad hay season because of it. :(
Today's ballroom lesson was a little more salsa and waltz. :D The class is small - the boys and three much younger little girls. Apparently, Big J is now ttheir adopted big brother. LOL
Had a sale to Switzerland. I've not ever mailed to Switzerland. Anything I need to know???? I'll probably take it to the post office myself to make sure I've done everything correct.
His AAA surgery site is leaking, and there are a couple of smaller issues. They have to decide whether to do surgery or not on the stent. He's 90, so it's dicey either way.
Well...I think I found part of the issue with my 0 views. I have been going back through my listings, and once again, information is missing from the listings, and on listings I know for certain that I filled in. For example...the boxes for recipient are not checked. On some of the listings, the materials were also unchecked.
What baffles me about this is that I went back and checked all of these listings about 6 months ago, and it's the majority of my listings.
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed the same. I could understand if it was 1 or 2 listings that are older...but this is over 1/2, and some of them are brand new listings, that I absolutely know I filled out.
Views are up for me today, and I can't help but wonder if this has been part of the issue.
