No Erga we used to do a blog "challenge" where I would post a topic, you would sign up if you were interested in blogging about it, then we would all blog about it on the same day.
Then in the bottom of your post you would post the list of other teammates that signed up, to help cross promote.

Right now, my blog belongs to the business. Thinking about splitting it into two, personal and business, so that I can do whatever I want with my own.

It is surprising how dependent our business is on the blog. (As a source of info, not attracting initial customers.) A significant amount of potential customers hold off buying until visiting it at least once.

The blog type posts used to be scattered throughout our website, but that was a bit cumbersome and not as effective. Distracting to those that don't give a hang about any silly words that might be associated with a given product.

The ole 'pull' and 'push' debate at it's finest.

These blog posts are business related - topics like " how did you get started?" and "what is your biggest challenge in running your own business" and "If you could pick any team mate to observe working, who would it be?" <---- thinking about that last one for the topic actually.

Howdy. In taking a cooling break. The higher altitude here and thinner ozone now really makes the sun hot on the body, it's only 70F, feels really hot.

I know what you mean, CG. I went out today and sat in the sun and my skin felt like it was burning. The sun seemed so hot! Not even the same sensation as June.

What's your elevation? We're at 1575 ft above sea level.

It's about 3200 ft. I know that ozone is thinner because the shade to sun difference is even greater than Banff at 4500 ft. was 20 years ago.

Shade at 70F feels great, walk into the full sun and it's like standing under heat lamps.

Funny thing, this morning when we woke at 5ish it was so dark out, like September dark, when you know that fall has arrived. It was an odd feeling and I had to remind myself that I had a month to go. It cleared up later and we didn't get the 70% chance of rain today as NOAA had predicted (who pays these guys? Oh yah; our government). Weird weather.

Sounds like you're getting the weather we had in July. I think it rained at least once all but 3 days. Still a few puddles in the shade on the driveway, they may dry up this week.

I know I always ask this but how's the foundation coming? I am hoping that you'll hit an amazingly dry fall and be able to get a lot done.

I have only a few more resolutions to complete this year including reflooring or carpeting and painting two rooms and reroofing the chicken house. And putting a website up for the store. And if I'm really cool putting up a website for myself apart from etsy. But that seems like almost too much to ask for and run the store too. I'll be happy with just three of those.
