Hello everyone. Happy New Year! I'm starting my New Year today instead of Jan 1. it was just too much with my FIL's funeral.

It's so great to be back. Things are going to be chaotic here for awhile, so I may only be able to check in sporadically.

It's a gorgeous, sunny day out today with a beautiful weekend expected. I haven't ridden in over 2 weeks...so I'm looking forward to catching up with the horses tomorrow. :) I have missed my girls terribly!

I've heard with Etsy's changes of the team threads, they will be deleting old threads that have not had comments recently. Not sure of the specifics, but I didn't know if there were threads that were worth keeping here?

Seems to be some speculation about the magnitude of the changes to teams and the forums - more info to come, maybe - but it does look like any team threads pre-Jan 10 2015 will be gone forever.

So...if there is anything anyone might want to personally save, they should before Jan 10. Or, bumping an old thread should make it current and available after Jan 22.

We should definitely keep Denmark open somehow. I almost went there a week or so ago.

Just got back from seeing Mule with Clint Eastwood. He's really looking his age in the movie although he plays an 80 year old, I think he might be. It was good and less violent than I thought and I think he might have had a good time making it. He got to act quite un-politically correct in places.

Beautiful here today! Upper 60s. Heading out to the barn this morning to spend some quality time with the girls...then studio time later on. I have quite a bit to catch up on.

I saw a bald eagle fly over in the sunrise as I was looking out the window. So gorgeous!

Time flies by as we age, Erin. Seems like yesterday mine was 15. I can’t remember when it happened but somewhere along the way his age reminded me I was older than I felt. Still does.

Cats are funny. My little Yorkie likes bottle tops and the cardboard toilet paper rolls. He will actually throw them up and chase and run with them if we engage.

My cat loves toilet paper rolls. I throw them in the waste basket, she digs them out and bats them all over. Usually they end up under the bed where they're hard to reach

Kind of like kids, give them a toy and they will choose to play in the appliance box.

Hedda has wanted to buy Cookie cat toys a few times, but Cookie always completely ignores them. She plays with elastic bands, pieces of fabric or string, or her owl tail, even now when she’s an old lady.

K likes picking out toys for the cat, too. I think that's hilarious. If they have catnip in them, the cat will even play with them.

I have stuffs to do today. Let's see if I can get them done. :D

Wats likes this he toys on a string. 8he comes in a couple of times a day, pats my arm to get me to come play. If I don't do it fairly quickly, the claws come out.
