Thanks for the invite Mike!  Glad to be a part of a group of sellers helping each other.  I hope I can be a good helper/contributor for the group as well.  I started my shop focusing mainly on grandparents (how they're called in their own country, language or whatever quirky way their grandchildren would call them). Right now, I've only been using Printify POD (please don't hate me for that).  The designs I make and upload it into Printify but I see how expensive it's been getting and I can't lower my prices to a point of still being able to make some profit.  I sure would appreciate the help in that.

Good morning everyone.  I finally got my first sale last night.  Yay!  I wanted to ask, do I message the customer right away to thank them for ordering?  If so, should I add my Etsy link again?  Or do they get a "thank you" and confirmation from Etsy already?  I don't want to come across too eager or pushy but I also don't want to just ignore them.  Suggestions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

@ShoppeByTutuFinds CONGRATS!  You took your first very big step toward success.  As for the message, I always error on the side of doing too much for customer service.  Yes, they will receive an order confirmation from Etsy that is a generic template.  But, it's good to send a personal message from a human.  Thank them for their purchase.  Say something about how much it means to you.  And let them know that you care.

Does anyone know why there would a trademark alerts on all of my 52 posts?  Alerts are on words like pumpkin, sports, halloween, etc...

@ShoppeByTutuFinds That seems very odd.  But, your listings are still up.  So, you don't appear to be in violation.  Is Etsy testing a new system?  I'll see if I can find anything

Hello guys, I've been active for about two months and I've tried all kinds of ads and I think I've done everything I can. However, I still have some shortcomings. Is there anything you recommend or what am I doing wrong, please let me know. Thanks

@ModBBoutique Your shop is set up beautifully.  I haven't noticed any issues there.

Ads are very difficult and expensive.  Generally in retail, you need someone to visit your shop 7 (or more) times before they make their first purchase.  And people don't usually click ads the first and every other time they see it.  So, that takes a lot.  

This is why we do a lot of social media games.  We work together to develop a community interested in unique items.  We share, like, and promote items through our 28,000+ members.  They share with their followers.  On average, people know about 600 people.  So, the potential is unlimited.  Over time, it will be revealed who your customers are and what your niche is.  And you can start focusing on that.  Also, it's good to be prepared for the holiday season (October - December).  Usually, that time of year accounts for 75-80% of sales.  

Also, a good way to kick off the holiday season is at our annual AWESOME AUTUMN ART FESTIVAL!: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1934458910278595  It's a great way to find new customers.  We have lots of activities designed to generate traffic.  You'll share your fashions along with hundreds of other vendors.  And getting followers and start showing up in people's social media feeds for free.
