Thanks for telling, I did see many visits from Pinterest on those pins I posted here and was wondering why and if I should do it too. Now don't have to worry. But I don't understand how it hurts ratings? Is any visits from Pinterest do? and which don't? thank you.

It's some people's imagination that it hurts LOL Extra exposure never HURTS... Outside Etsy VISITS is a strong factor, which improves your SEO, visibility and shop's rating in the end... Some people were zombied to believe opposite for whatever reason... I always let them LOL

posting items on Pinterest is great. It brings outside buyers to your shop. Their "Likes" are organic and positive.
Team members increase number of visits and likes without buying. It signals to etsy that items are not so good.
Recent reports shows that. I keep an eye on them.
Posting on Pinterest is great. The more people the better. :)

Thank everyone for the explanation, for me listings with almost no views really don't work. Only ones that had more visits in the past would get found. So for my shop extra heart or view is a great help!
