First, We are so grateful for the possibility of introducing ourselves to the Etsy Community.

 All our family is from Latvia. Twenty-three years ago, we stepped on Canada's land. Thank God we found a job and started to earn for living right away. Years later, our kids finished school, and We could afford a house. I was a civil engineer in ex-Soviet Union, and Elena was a fashion designer there. But in Canada, we started our new professional life as self-employed guys.

In the beginning, I received a large shovel from the construction company where they build gas stations. I was so happy because I was 45, and Canada suggested possibilities to Horizon. Two years later, I decided to be the boss of my company and naively believed in making my way to Horizon faster and closer. As for my wife Elena, she started as a seamstress at the company that did the curtains. But two years later, she opened her company that did more creative curtains, and the market gave her all cookies with sugar and mustard.

 But now we are retired. And finally, we have time to do our lovely things. She dreamed about oil painting all her professional life. As for me, I had no time to look for something and started to learn to promote her artworks by making the hugest mistakes in this way. But our hope for the best never leaves us. And I am so glad to get any suggestions about our shop ArtByElenaG from you guys.
