I've loved it ever since I was little, because art can be whatever you want it to be. Whatever you can imagine/feel, it can be put in art form. Also, every time I visit art museums I feel at home. (: Art is definitely a part of me!
love color and texture it always grabs me I'm a firm believer that everyone can create art.....may not be art that everyone likes but thats ok.......Lots of people, I sure, don't care for my style.....that is ok too.
When I was a first grader, I drew a shark head as a slanting curve, the other students made it a circle or a square. I realized I saw things a bit differently then. Still drawing!
I like being able to make something out of nothing. It helps give me a sense of purpose. I remember making this sunflower painting in 5th grade with watercolor, white crayon, and crumpled up paper. It's still hanging in my mother's dining room and still impresses me that I made that when I was 10!
I love the feeling of seeing something in my head and being able to create it as I see it so that others can see it! My earliest memory of being amazed by art is coloring quietly in my coloring books as a young child =)
This might seem bizarre, but my earliest memory is of me in art class in first grade. We were asked to create an aboriginal style painting. It ended up being framed in the art room of my school! Every time I pick up my brush, I feel as though I'm being sent back to such a perfect moment.
