"No valid changes were found" when trying to edit descriptions?

I'm trying to edit a group of descriptions. I've selected 'Modify Description', and 'Replace Text (Specific)'. In the Find Text to Replace, I've put a section of the description in like so:

XYZ

ABC

And in the Replace With, I've put:

XYZ

123

ABC

Because I want to add description between two existing paragraphs. But it gives me the error "No Valid Changes were found. For Large Text replacements the Like Replace function is a better choice", so I tried it with that and same result. I've also tried putting the entire description in and replacing the whole thing with the extra text and that does the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's just me doing something wrong but I can't seem to figure it out :( Any suggestions?

The normal replace is an EXACT match which can be difficult with spaces and line feeds which have characters you don't "see". To use the Like Replace, insert a * between the specific characters you wish to replace, In your example above use XYZ*ABC as the replace text. Make sure there is only one of these in the text. It will now replace everything between XYZ and ABC
The right hand upper corner will give you feedback on this as well. If this doesn't work, let us know.
