Bug reports.

Heya,

I'm new to Zetsy as of yesterday, but with a bit of tinkering I have managed to do, in ten minutes, something that I spent a week trying to accomplish using another Etsy bulk editor.

Anyhow, just wondering if you have anywhere you collect bug reports? I just rebooted the software and got an 'install update' request, and it looks like since the update, if I maximise the main screen the information inside doesn't resize, whereas if I stretch the window out whilst it's restored, it resizes fine.

Not a big issue, just a lil bug report.

YES, I actually collect bug reports. Thanks for reporting this and I will check into it. (We also take improvement suggestions as well)

I have tried several times to enter my shop name without success.
What is the proper way to enter my shop name?
I am in desperate need of a bulk editer.

Are you getting any type of error? I checked and if I put in your shop's name EXACTLY as it shows above into the box on the left side below Sync Shop. it worked. Once its entered it should be remembered.

I'm having an issue with bulk editing my prices (want to make a pre-summer sale). When I go to the "Modify Pricing Information" section, the "Current Price" column is blank for all listings (DBNull). However, everything else has synced successfully...

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

I checked and everything is working correctly. Pricing should also show up in the filter listings item. Are there prices there ? You can also resync the shop and it should fill in anything missing. If your still having problems there is a file in the documents/zimpro/errorlogs directory that you can send me at zimpro@live.com. This will have additional error information helpful to me in trouble shooting.

Hello I downloaded Zetsy using my Etsy shop name and Zetsy gives me an error telling me it can't find the shop. How do I correct this.

I used your shops name and its working fine. We had problems in the past with spaces before and after which I confirmed we corrected. The name of the shop in the error message should also be displayed. I dropped the 1 after your shops name and it correctly gave the message it could not find that shop. If you are still having problems if you could send me the error log as described in my earlier response above perhaps I can find something. Sorry your having problems.

Tried to change listings yesterday and several problems. The problem that I had before with some listings that were uploaded with Zetsy and were not formatted are still there. They look formatted until I click on them and they turn into 1 paragraph. I had to manually update a lot of listings and I really don't know if I got them all.

Second problem: I tried to delete the last paragraph in all of my listings and it won't recognize what I want to delete, I get 0 found. Tried both coping the paragraph from the shop and from the Zetsy listing, same result.

I'm working on implementing a wildcard feature. Lets say you state "The listings * at my store" The * is a wildcard and EVERYTHING between "The listings" and "at my store" would be found and changed. With large text changes I think this is the only way to get things to work properly. I'm working on this now and adding a LIKE feature to the text editing function.

Hi Chris, thanks, sounds like the first step, hope this works. What about Zetsy compacting listings. A couple of weeks ago I had this problem and I tried loading the shop several times and finally got it to stop the compacting and got my listings changed. This time it didn't do any good reloading the shop. I had to do a lot of manual 1 listing at a time to get them changed.

I don't believe the compacting is "real" in the sense that it uploads that way. It's caused by the editor itself flipping into a mode where the formatting is ignored. At least I've seen this before and thought I had gotten around it. I need to look at that again. You could try uploading a single listing like this to see if I'm right.

I just tried the * feature and it didn't work. I clicked on some after I tried the update and review. If I do a copy of the listing that shows compaction and I paste it, the paste doesn't show the compaction.

I updated the program so that is not the problem with the * not working.

Pricing updates in one of my shops are failing. Anything going on with the program that you know of? It tries to update, but each listing fails. The listings have variations.

I think the issue is the authorization code is not being linked to the correct shop. Currently the only way of making this work correctly is setting up both shops in the program options menu. I'm going to look into making this somewhat easier and straightforward to use. If you reauthroize the shop each time that will work - but its a pain!

Using the latest version, I tried to delete 3 Materials in several listings and attempted to do so from the Tag Modification tab. After selecting the checkbox for each Material, clicking Update and then Upload, only 1 Material was deleted in the listings. I had to repeat the process two more times to complete the task.

The Delete ultimately worked, but just wanted you to be aware that it seems to do only one at a time.
