Even if this Team is dedicated to the West German Pottery, they are also East German manufacturers with some similarities to those in West Germany. During the rapid expansion of the ceramics industry in Germany in the 50s, 60s and 70s we can find also manufacturers from the German Democratic Republic (GDR) like Strehla Keramik or VEB Haldensleben. I recently picked up a porcelain figure with a blue crown and other markings but can’t figure out where it’s from. Not a pottery expert and all help would be appreciated. The markings are a blue crown with the cursive letters A and what I think is an I under. Emily
