Mary Jane is right, it is NOT pretty. Most of my listings now need to be edited!
Why do they constantly change everything?!?! Now we can look forward to another sales drought!

Yup. Everytime I start to feel im getting a handle on things - they change it up! Not sure how it will play out. But - seems to me to be inevitable. No matter how much I may kvetch about it - it's gonna change. And as im already in a drought - well...now im startin to sound like eyeore so let me stop this now! Lol

HELP!!!!! I am looking for some help with my computer!!! I got a virus off of the yahoo pages - fixed it - or so I thought. Ever since then my computer is SO slow, crashes if I try to open more than two windows at a time, takes forever to do anything and is constantly sending me "High Disc Usage" warnings. Every dang security tool I've used has said no malware has been found but I think I have a Trojan.

Does anyone have ANY experience with removing/tracing/locating such a thing? I can't even do SOTD because it shuts me down when I open windows to get things done in a timely fashion! I tried the other day and it took me about 1 hour to work that thread!

I think you have to delete any new programs that have appeared in your control panel

I havent noticed any changes to my listings? You actually sell more if you edit your items as it makes you more relevant. If you have been active and then you edit them then the software moves you. So if you were inactive then dont edit lols.

You can check your relevancy with etsytools4u.com and see the before and after. If you arent relevant in the first 20 pages then you Might be if you edit or relist.

Catherine - Check every one of your listings. The categories may be incorrect now. I have started going thru each of my items and about 1/3 have been wrong.

I like the new categories, actually. Gives more options for search terms than before. Yes, it will take time to get used to it, but I always figure the bottom line for Etsy is money. So, if they are making a change, it's because their research has found that that the change will bring more buyers and sellers.

I just found some earrings lumped in with brooches, so we do need to look at all of our listings** yikes I have over 950. but, I do like all the new lisitng cats we can choose now. even shoe clips and dress clips, way to go etsy;0) Patsy

Hey teammies! Just thought I should check in while I can do so - this week was a very sad one here. First my best pal's dog passed away - a 12 yr old Dalmation named Lucky - who really WAS lucky - that dog survived for 6 years with cancer. Then, my friend and neighbour for 29 years went into hospital to find out she had 6 tumors in her brain - that was about 4 weeks ago. She passed away this morning. She went into palliative care just this week.

So needless to say - I've been kept away from etsyland the past few days. Likely will be hit and miss for the next couple more...will try to keep up but - Life just seems to get in the way it seems.

So I havent left! Just behind a bit - thanks to all who have featured my items in treasuries and congrats to all the SOTD's - I promise you - I will catch up as soon as I can! Until then I thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Has anyone ever made a sale that does not give the option to create a shipping label? I thought at first it may not have been an option due to the fact that it was waiting for payment, but it is scheduled to ship today and I still do not have the option?

Yes, I read that E-mail! I have mixed feelings about Etsy, selling stocks. Anybody know any good Brokers?

As for the printing a label, I always get an option to just print a label. I sold another item today and it gives me the option. I print USPS labels directly through Etsy, as Etsy gets discounted rates and options that are not available directly through the USPS online shipping. Guess I will be heading to the PO and doing a package the old fashioned way, by waiting in line:)

Hi, I'm not sure how I feel about the IPO either; it could go either way, with Etsy turning into something more like eBay or working very hard to support their sellers in order to maintain a space that eBay can't.

Krista, is it possible that this particular listing didn't have a shipping profile attached? That's the only thing I can think of that would affect your option to print a label. Anyone else?

Also, check your printer options. After a Chrome update, my printer options defaulted to printing a PDF, instead of the shipping label. Just a thought!

Anna, I agree, it could go either way. Take a look at Etsy's board, and you will see how things have changed in anticipation of the IPO. All corporate heavies, including Walmart. Hoping we can maintain the seller support that is so lacking on eBay. Fingers crossed!
