Hello, I have just made the move across from the Vintage Children's Book Team. Among an eclectic mix in my vintage shop I have a section for vintage and antique books, in particular illustrated children's books from the late Victorian / Edwardian periods. I am just about to update my tags and then sort through my hoard of unlisted stock to put up some more books! I look forward to joining in with the promotion of the beautiful books in this team. Morning all! My name is Megan, and I am an avid book lover and collector looking to join more Etsy teams to meet people! I’m more of a collector and reader than a seller, although you will see literary influence and a love for paper as a trend in my products. I frequent Half Price Bookstores, looking for unique covers and $2 finds, and have a Goodreads account for any interested in that.
My favorite “collector’s” finds: I have two beautiful copies of Austen’s works (“Pride & Prejudice” and “Emma”), leather-bound like a journal with area to write notes, and with about 30 pages or so of background information and a map before each novel even begins. My mom and dad went book hunting for dates when they were young and poor – he has crumbly first editions of “Alice in Wonderland” & “Through the Looking Glass” that are priceless.
Hi, My name is Mary and my shop is merrirose artifacts. Children's books were one of my first personal collections. I love certain types so much that I can't bear to part with them, so you won't see any of my very favorites listed in my shop. I also love silk scarves and I have sold hundreds of them. I also personally own many that I wear. AND I can't think of much that I enjoy more than selling on Etsy!!!!
