Hi there! I am new to this team! I decided to separate my books into a shop from my camera/housewares mid century shop. I have an insane amount of beautiful books that it may take me months to get on Etsy :) Check out both my shops! I am always open to constructive critique!
My name is Megan, and I'm addicted to old books...history, fiction, books off the beaten track...I love them all! I've got a little bit of every kind of read that could strike your fancy. Please take a look, and hopefully you'll see something that puts a twinkle in your eye. :)
I have been a etsy seller for almost a year now. I sell vintage books and collectibles. I have been a vintage book collector for years. I owned a antique shop here in Kentucky for almost twenty years and books were always on the shelves in my little country store antique shop. Come check out some of my books.
Northern California checking in! I am proudest of my late 1800's collection, books as well as ephemera, though I carry all eras and genres. I tend toward the rare and obscure topics. Glad to be on the team!
We just joined today. We are an antiquarian bookstore located in Winnipeg, MB - specializing in old, rare, and out-of-print. We have a collection of over 15,000 books here, some of which are quite amazing, including one of the Vinegar Bibles. We currently hold memberships with ABAC and ILAB.
We run a small shop on Etsy that we are currently expanding. Looking forward to getting to know all of you, and happy to join the team.
Hello! I have a shop of many types of things, and an entire room full of vintage books and ephemera just waiting for this busy Mom to find time to list them all!! I have had my shop for a long time, but am new to the idea of teams.
I started my ETSY shop this winter to keep me busy as life has been throwing me curve balls and I needed something positive to focus on. Throughout my life I have collected a great variety of artifacts but my greatest love has always been books. My favorites are early illustrated children's books and nature books. Not long ago I donated a book entitled The Wonders of Nature and Providence by Josiah Priest to the Rare Book Room at Western Michigan University where my daughter was a graduate student. It was a great feeling to be able to do that! (I had found that very rare book at the bottom of a box of old and misused books which I acquired for $5.00 at an auction.) I am eager to learn from other book lovers and so glad to be part of this team.
Warm welcomes to Ana,M. Kerkoff and Amy Clare! Your shops sound fascinating. As do your experiences. I always remember many years ago finding a house near Boston that was a treasure trove of old books. It impressed me that every room, even the bath tub was filled with books.
Just joined a moment ago and wanted to drop in and say hello. I sell books, games, toys and craft supplies here at The Unpoked Eye. Please do not be misled by the small selection of books currently in my shop. I am in the process of moving this shops inventory from a shop I had on Zibbet for the last two years. Trust me, I have so many books waiting their turn to be listed that I had to go out and buy three new bookshelves a few months ago. So glad to have found this team. I am definitely looking forward to exploring the resources here and getting to chat with some fellow book lovers.
Welcome to the team Vicky! Don't feel bad. I have at least 100 books still waiting to be listed in my shop, and I have been saying this for at least two years now. I'm in grad school and I have two young children. Etsy is my hobby, but I am planning to have my shops stocked before the end of the year. Glad to have you join us!
