How is your holiday business?

I' m a tiny shop, 3 or four sales a month. After reading the gloom and doom in the forums I wasn't expecting any increase in Christmas traffic. But all of a sudden I'm seeing things sell that have languished in shop since I opened. Are books suddenly trendy? Are vintage postcards the to new stocking stuffer? I wonder who the lucky person is who is getting the Radio Control handbook pamphlet as a special romantic gift.
Not complaining mind you just totally perplexed Anyone else having a busy holiday?
OK, off the store for some shipping supplies - fun - the nearest store is 20 miles away an we have 11 inches of snow, gusting winds and a temp of 3 degrees. At least it's gonna warm up to 6 degrees this afternoon!
Hope you are all having this Christmas rush too!

LOL @ totally perplexed! There's really no science to it! But I do think Christmas is definitely a season for books - they make great gifts for all kinds of people.

Good luck with the cold and the snow.
Here in Ohio, we're getting two frigid days but don't have much snow (maybe an inch)
