Am seriously new to the team, this isn't my only shop i also do Fenix Fire Designs for Digital Collages - but this is my specifically hand created and recycled items.

I'm originally from the USA, and am a author in progress trying to fund my way through my books by bottle cap crafting.

I have three other Etsy shops for fabric, crafts and patterns - - mostly supplied from estate sales. I also make and sew my own upcycled creations, available in the gift section of this shop. Its nice to be here.

Me and Arda would like to joined the team and see what we can learn.

Most of the materials and the things are coming from our grand’s chests and nature’s itself, upcycled and unique things such as laces, doilies, natural twigs and sea finds.

We love what we do and we are trying to give our most of free time to make these beauties.

Our unique handmade pretties are inspired by nature, vintage, bohemian, ethnical and mystical living.

With love and peace..

Hi team leaders and members! I recently opened my shop and proud to use upcycling in my shop name! I scour my local thrift stores, garage sales. flea markets where I can find one, and if I have anything at home - since I come from a family of pack rats (which I of course fight the urge myself to collect) - I repurpose and give new life for home decor styles. I love to work with chalk paint, acrylics and glass paint - I give my items thought and purpose before I choose the color and what style decor they fit into. I am beginning to have sales and super excited to be in this team and here on etsy :)

Each of these pieces are completely unique and handmade by myself. They come with a silent sweeping mechanism and ready to hang.

Inspired by a passion for producing original artworks, alongside an aspiration to induce intrigue through interpretative features.

These creative and affordable designs are available in a variety of sizes and make unique features for any home or office.

There's rarely a day that goes by where we I am not creating or planning new projects . Inspired by a passion for producing original artworks, alongside an aspiration to induce intrigue through interpretative features.

If there was ever a time to purchase art from an up and coming artist, It has to be now ! With BRAND NEW art, boxed and packed and photography-studio time booked, all i can say is watch this space...

Hi, I just joined! I make jewelry from repurposed/upcycled/recycled materials. I even try to recycle things for my packaging and minimized waste as much as possible. I shop thrift stores and clearance sales for most of my materials, which, in addition to reducing waste and giving new life to older materials, also keeps costs down (for me and potential buyers). All of my items come ready to gift. Anyway, thanks for letting me join!

Hi All!
I've just joined your team and thought I'd say hi!
I'm Adam from Brisbane, I upcycle old city utility assets like road signs into furniture and fixtures. I'm looking forward to hearing what you are all up to and although I can't really help with much Etsy (new to etsy and still trying to work it all out...) I've been a builder for a number of years so can offer some 'maker' experience if nothing else.
Please feel free to comment on my shop setup, I encourage you to be frank with me as I'm new to this and would value the guidance.
Thanks for your time and I'm looking forward to meeting you.
Cheers, Adam G.

Hi everyone! Pretty New Boutique here for the first time. We are a new accessories line made of at least 50% upcycled pieces on all of our items. We love taking once loved items and turning them into something that is 'pretty' new. We named our store based on the double meaning that our items are both pretty-beautiful and pretty-kind of new!

We hope you take a look, and thanks for having us.

Hello fellow upcyclers! Happy to be apart this team. I looking forward to the communication. My studio is just getting formerly started. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE to reuse and reinvent items that still have some life in them.

I make jewelry from tin and outcasts, custom pet collages from magazines, totes and bags from old banners, silhouettes from vinyl records, and sculptures from scrap wire and metal.

Looking forward to learning from you all and helping the cause.

Re: NEW MEMBER Introductions

Hi Upcyclers!

I'm a writer, traveler, multimedia artist and bartender based seasonally on two islands: Martha's Vineyard, where I grew up (summer) and Vieques, PR, the island I fell in love with and have made my second home (winter).

Bad Apple, my mostly-upcycled art business, grew out of one broke Christmas in Key West, when I needed gifts to give, but didn't have any money to spend. It started with jewelry, and grew over the past five years to include clothing, accessories, woodworking, photography, record art and more. At this point I'm working primarily with recycled fabric, and trying to establish a brand of accessories and clothing. I'm still working primarily as a bartender, so it's a slow process that sometimes goes in fits and starts, as time allows. Etsy is a very recent and exciting step!

One of my mottoes, in life and in business, is "Use what you have, make what you need." Island life, and limited access to material goods, has taught me that there's a recycled way to make just about anything you might need, and there's another purpose for just about anything you might throw away.

I look forward to being a part of the Upcyclers network! When time allows, I will use my blog at badapplemv.tumblr.com, which auto-posts to my twitter, and my business Facebook page to promote other Upcyclers. I will also be posting upcycling tips, tricks and life hacks, and eventually tutorials on my blog.

Hi Everyone.

I am so glad that I found this team. There are so many wonderful shops here. It is always fun to see what creative ideas people have for reusing items.

I make collages using found materials. Lots of gum/candy wrappers, older calendars, junk mail etc.. I am hoping to add more animals collages to my site over the next year. I currently have an elephant print almost ready to put up.

I am very happy to be part of this team.

Hey guys! My name’s Megan. I’m from the Cincinnati area and I make a little bit of everything. I used to do social work full time for a few years and in that time saw how much poverty can control lives and how money can divide classes and people. During that time though I also saw hope in that a lot of the things we take for granted can be reused or redeemed – both people and junk alike. I have a passion for upcycling and it shows in some of my products, because I like to give things a second chance.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you better! Thanks for letting me a part of the team.

Hello fellow upcyclers! It is nice to be surrounded by like minded people. I have had my etsy shop for quite a few years and have always loved the idea of upcycling. During the day, I'm a Conservation/Aquatic Ecologist, I work in the field during the summer and am pursuing my masters during the fall/spring. I also have a sweet daughter, named Olive, to whom is my inspiration. I love her, the Earth, and sewing. Nature and beautiful textures are featured in my creations, I love the idea of a little fantasy and imagine stories (goblins, heroins, woodland creatures, etc) while I create my pieces. I was recently featured in Altered Couture for my upcycled hats, so that is very exciting! I am happy to join your team and look forward to talking with some of you! Hello Upcylers and the wooden Bee! I have recently joined, and am new to Etsy. I find bones in my back woods and make them into jewelry. Giving new life to something that has already had one is a pleasure of mine. I don't know how I came to fall in love with bones; I think they picked me. Sometimes I like to showcase a specific shape, sometimes I carve into them and use the bone as my canvas, sometimes the bones tell me where to cut and even I am surprised at what I find. I also collect plant materials from around my property and make natural dyes from them. I'm still experimenting, and as the colors are going away for the winter I'm working with what I have. I think my favorite dye was purple plantain! Take a look at my shop, give suggestions, and keep making beautiful things out of the forgotten.

Here's a few examples of what I do:

Hi everyone! I've just opened shop but have always loved upcycling since I was a child. My current passion is giving neglected vintage jewelry a second chance such as my charm bracelets which are one-of-a-kind pieces. I also love mixed media art.
